This abstracted colorful take on a Lowcountry Marsh is part of my Fairy Tale series where color and sensibilities are plucked right out of childhood fantasy. I approached this series with childhood dolls, books and mementos on hand. They informed my mood along with a play list of songs popular on the radio in my elementary years. The snowballing effect was an explosion of daring color and devil may care attitude.
