Growing up in a small town in India with a canal flowing right in front of my home, lot of birds visited all day.This kingfisher was a regular visitor.He would wait patiently at one specific spot for hours to find the right catch. Everytime he dove into that murky dark water of the canal, he would always come out with a catch.This painting is the answer to my query all through my childhood wondering what did that bird do in there
